January 9, 2012

Harli once again had an amazing night and is now requiring around 25% oxygen which is only 4% more than everyone breathes on a regular basis.

The have continued giving Harli 2cc of breast milk every 3 hours and she seems to be tolerating it quit well which is just amazing.  She is also getting liquid food which will continue as they try to wean her off the liquid and go completely to milk.

1:00 p.m.  The nurse practitioner came in and said since Harli is doing so well they are going to go ahead and put in her pick line so they could take the tube out of the umbilical cord which can only be in for a total of 7-10 days. The pick line went very successful and now we have to wait and make sure that she doesn't get an infection in the pick line since then the infection will be in her blood system.

9:30 p.m. Blair and I found out that we were excepted in the Ronald McDonald house which is something we have been on the list for since we got out here. We finally don't have to continue to worry about where were going to sleep and we don't have to move in and out of a room daily.  ANSWER TO PRAYER
